Importance Of Surah Baqarah. Surah Al-Baqarah, otherwise known as Surah Baqarah, is one of the longest surahs in the Holy Quran. Surah Al-Baqarah consists of 286 verses which spread over 48 full pages. It takes an hour for someone to read the it and almost 2 – 3 months to memorize it, with relatively fast pacing.
